Robin has recently done work on 2 of my guitars and I want to leave my testimonial to the incredible standard of his work\u2026 <\/span><\/p>\n

Firstly, he changed out all of the pots, caps and wiring on my Gibson Custom Shop ES335\u2026 this is an extremely difficult and time consuming job but he carried the work out flawlessly and in short time too. Now the guitar sounds so much better than before and the controls actually react like I want them too. This guitar is my number 1 instrument and I wouldn\u2019t trust anybody else to work on it after seeing the standard of Robin\u2019s handy work.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second, and main job I needed doing was a complete setup on my new Martin OM21 acoustic guitar.This is a fantastic instrument, but the standard Martin setup leaves a lot to be desired. The playability wasn\u2019t right, it felt stiff.. the action was too high at both the nut and saddle, the frets were all over the place height wise, the intonation was driving me mad and the guitar just sounded generally congested and restrained! <\/span><\/p>\n

After leaving it with Robin for a while I returned to collect it, and immediately upon playing it, I was totally blown away!!\u2026 I couldn\u2019t put the thing down. It felt so vibrant and alive\u2026 the sound is now bell-like in clarity and sustains beautifully\u2026 there are harmonic overtones to the notes that were completely hidden before and I feel that this guitar is now worthy of it\u2019s near \u00a32k price tag. <\/span><\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t be happier with the work Robin has done to my 2 most prized possessions. The price is very reasonable too, especially considering he goes above and beyond.. spending hours and hours striving for perfection. The fretwork is second to none and is all painstakingly done by hand. <\/span><\/p>\n

Not to mention that he\u2019s a great bloke\u2026 very friendly and easy to chat with. He\u2019s extremely passionate about guitars and music and this gave me absolute confidence right away in him and his abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m now looking for any excuse to take my other guitars to him for a complete setup\/overhaul! <\/span><\/p>\n
